Peoria, Illinois own 105.7 The X closed out the year with the annual Nutcracker Show Headlining with Five Finger Death Punch and joining them was Three Days Grace and for the first time in Central Illinois Bad Wolves and Fire From The Gods.

Fire From The Gods

Hailing from Austin, Texas this group mixes Metal, Rock, and Hip-hop into their sound, making quite a unique show. Songs like "The Voiceless" and "Truth To The Weak (Not Built To Collapse)" making this apparent. The crowd was energized with the emotional lyrics and different sound of this group. Vocalist AJ Channer, Guitarists Jameson Teat and Drew Walker, Bassist Bonner Baker, and Drummer Richard Wicander definitely started the evening off on the right foot.

Bad Wolves

Los Angeles Metal Band made their Peoria, IL debut exploding on the stage to a crowd that has been awaiting their sound. Vocalist Tommy Vext, Drummer John Boecklin, Guitarists Chris Cain and Doc Doyle, and Bassist Kyle Konkiel all from various metal bands came together in 2016 and have not stopped since. Playing hits "Remember When" and "Killing Me Softly" fans were rocking to these favorites but could not wait for their chart-topping Cranberries cover of "Zombie".

Three Days Grace

Canadian Group Three Days Grace returned once again for another Illinois Winter. Lead singer Matt Walst, his brother bassist Brad Walst, Guitarist Barry Stock and drummer Neil Sanderson. Opening with "The Mountain" and playing a strong 12 song set including, ""The Good Life", "Painkiller", "Animal I Have Become" and ending with "Riot"

Five Finger Death Punch

Las Vegas may be the City That Never Sleeps which is fitting for this Metal Band that seems to never slow down. Vocalist Ivan Moody, Rhythm Guitarist Zoltan Bathory, Lead Guitarist Jason Hook, Bassist Chris Kael, and Drummer Charlie Engen erupted on the stage with an energy that only they can produce. Opening with "Lift Me Up" which was fitting as the entire arena was on their feet. "Jekyll an Hyde", and of course their covers of "Bad Company" and "Blue On Black" Closing with "Under And Over It" and "The Bleeding" The night was complete and the fans that came out on this chilly Sunday evening left wanting the night not to end.
