Wrapping up the summer series in Peoria, IL the Reverend Horton Heat and The Delta Bombers come to the Monarch Music Hall. True fans turned out on the first chilly evening in the Mid-West.

The Delta Bombers

From the city that never sleeps Las Vegas, Nevada and formed in 2008 The Delta Bombers opened the show with their unique sound. Guitarist Andrew Himmler, Vocalist\Acoustic Guitarist Chris Moinichen, Bassist Gregorio Garcia, and Drummer Micah Malcolm opened the show with "This Is The Night" and "Lock The Door" Their extended 18 song set was filled with a Rockabilly/Blues Country Rock and Roll sound that the fans were eating up. Songs "Top Shelf", "King Of The Hill", and "The Wolf" kept the venue powered up and energized and their newest single "Give Em All" is definitely worth a listen.

The Reverend Horton Heat

When it comes to things in Texas being bigger they definitely were on the money with The Reverend Horton Heat. Modern Rockabilly/Psychobilly was born with this group in 1986. Vocalist/Guitarist Jim "Reverend Horton" Heath and Bassist Jimbo Wallace and now joined by Drummer Arjuna "AJ" Contreras immediately grabbed on to the fans on the floor and refused to let go. The mix of sound including big band, swing, rock, punk, surf, country, and rockabilly is a sight to witness if the boys come to town. Opening up with "Psychobilly Freakout" and playing multiple hits and fan favorites, "Got It In My Pocket"and "Big Red Rocket Of Love". Pianist Lance Lipinsky joined the band later in the evening pounding out the tunes making the show a sight to see. Make sure to catch them when the Tour comes into town!
