Monarch Music Hall - Peoria, Illinois April 23th, 2018
Review and Photos by Jeremy Rickman of JKR Photography
Continuing the beginning of the Spring music season in Peoria, Illinois Nothing More rocked out along with Eyes Set To Kill and To Whom It May. Taking the stage on a Monday night to an almost sold out crowd. Proof again that there is a strong following for music in Central Illinois.
To Whom It May
This was a first time in Peoria for Galveston, Texas hard rock band To Whom It May. Vocalist and Guitarist Jonathan Jourdan on the 8 string blends both the hard and soft sounds perfectly, Bassist Robb Mars, and Drummer Dexas Villareal took the stage playing their hits, "Sick Day", "Ghost" and new single, "The Signal Fire"

Eyes Set To Kill
Hailing from Phoenix, Arizona this band has been rocking since 2006. Just returned from an overseas tour vocalist and guitarist Alexia Rodriguez, drummer Caleb Clifton, rhythm guitarist AJ Bartholomew and bassist Comron Fouladi definitely turned some heads when they took the stage. Alexia's voice cut through the crowd with her clear and direct vocals. Songs "Infected" and Little Liar" when the band covered The Cranberries "Zombie" the audience was cheering but the sound from the stage overtook the building building up the energy. It is no wonder they have a 1.2 million following on Facebook!

Nothing More
Headliners from San Antonio, Texas took to the stage with an explosive energy as vocalist and drummer Jonny Hawkins walked out. Followed by guitarist Mark Vollelunga, bassist Danial Oliver, and drummer Ben Anderson. Playing an amazing 16 song set opening with "Christ Copyright" and "Let 'em Burn" Jonny's energy is unlike a long of others between his clear vocals and his stage presence is it no surprise that they were nominated for 3 Grammy Awards. Songs "Go To War" and "Do You Want It?" had the building shaking between the hard sound and the crowds intensity. If you have not had a chance to catch them live I highly recommend it. Jonny and the 400 lb. Metal Scorpion Tail is a sight to see!
