 Elton John came to Portland and Bangor Maine for two dates as part of a 6-city concert tour that coincides with the anniversary of a songwriting collaboration with Bernie Taupin that started 50 years ago. The enthusiastic fans who managed to score tickets heard a extraordinary show that ran over  two nonstop hours and featured 22 iconic hits and classic album tracks from throughout his incredible five-decade career.

Nigel became Elton’s concert drummer in April 1970

It was truly amazing to see the singer-songwriter icon of my generation and 40 years later he can still work his magic. 

In case you didn't know Elton John has a hilarious part in a relatively new adventure spy movie based on the comic book series by the same name-  The Kingsman: The Golden Circle
