Bob Weir Performing at Lock'n Festival |
We are just over a month away from one of the summer’s top
music events anywhere in the country, The Lockn' Festival. This star-studded event will take place
August 24-27 on Infinity Downs Farm located near Arrington, VA. Since its first event in 2013, Lockn' Festival has continuously raised the bar with its top-notch performances from the
biggest bands in the rock n’ roll and jam band scenes. With no overlapping sets and a focus on musical collaborations between everyone’s favorite performers, promoter Peter Shapiro
has virtually guaranteed that the music hungry crowd will take in performances
that no other festival can deliver.

This year, The String Cheese Incident and Umphrey’s McGee take
over Thursday night, with each playing two sets. Friday night will feature a rare headlining performance
of the reunion of Phil Lesh and Bob Weir with the Terrapin Family Band. Other Friday acts include Gov’t Mule, Brandi
Carlile, Jim James, and Blackberry Smoke.
On Saturday night, southern rockers Widespread Panic will headline,
along with John Fogerty and John Butler Trio. Lockn' will close out Sunday night with some epic collaborations. Phil Lesh and Friends will perform with Moe in
an act they will call phil.moe, and The Avett Brothers will be closing out the
festival with The Grateful Dead’s Bob Weir.
Each night late night acts such as The Disco Biscuits and Joe Russo’s Almost Dead will be playing into the morning. Throughout the weekend, other acts such as The Marcus King Band, Tauk, Antibalas, and Dirty Dozen Brass Band will light up
the Blue Ridge Bowl during the day before the nighttime festivities.

Lockn' Festival will also offer lots of great local and
regional cuisine, as well as craft beers and wines. Lots of family friendly activities will be on
site such as an extensive arts and crafts village, yoga, and WaternLOCK’N (a
short ride to a swimming hole on the Tye River courtesy of Trinity Episcopal
Church).
Lockn' will doubtlessly serve up once in a lifetime
experiences with the top musicians in the business. This is not a festival to miss. Tickets are on sale right now for $299. Grab yours while you can.

I always prefer a concert so that i can enjoy my life a little bit. Thanks to occasion tickets, because of i didn't miss any festivals near me. I could easily buy tickets online at a low price.
It was quite a day. The performances are extraordinary. The stage was also quite good. It can be more gorgeous. Organizer can install LED video walls behind the stage. It can provide rhythmic gestures and can enhance the whole look.
