The Wild Feathers made
their debut at the historic Ryman Auditorium to a sold out crowd of
enthusiastic fans on Saturday night. The hallowed walls shook from
the the energy generated from the band to the fans and back to the
band again.
It is a sign that the
time has come for the Wild Feathers to take their place among the the
great Rock N Roll bands on the planet.
Ricky Young (guitar,
vocals), Taylor Burns (guitar, vocals), Joel King (bass, vocals), and
Ben Dumas (drums) have paid their dues touring world wide following
their initial self titled album release in 2013. Now with their
latest effort, “Lonely is a Lifetime” they display a seasoned
maturity gained from these years. All this was on display at the
show. Joined by Daniel Donato and Preston Wimberly on dueling lead
guitars the Wild Feathers demonstrated they have what it takes to
move into Rock's upper echelon, In a tribute to all those who have
helped them along the way the final encore was appropriately a raging
cover of “With a lil Help from my Friends” as they were joined by
the opening act “Jamestown Revival”, Donato, and Wimberly.
