During
this show at Third and Lindsley Pat Bergeson, one of Nashville's
great guitar players, who was sitting in playing harmonica, called
Jack Pearson “the greatest”. Jack, in his humble unassuming way,
just smiled at the compliment, handed Pat his new white Fender, and
asked Pat to play one for the folks.
To
those in the know, a Jack Pearson show, is always a special musical
treat. And like as this show artists such as Jonell Mosser, Shaun
Murphy, and Pat Bergeson show up to play with him for the pure joy of
making music with Jack. And just in the last year he has been
invited onstage to play with such Artists/Bands as Warren Haynes,
Derek Trucks, Charley Daniels, Joe Bonamassa to name a few. At a
recent Benefit for Nepal at the City Winery Keb Mo stopped playing,
looked around and said...”where's Jack? I need Jack to come help me
on this one.” And Jack got up on stage and did.
An
“A” list session player, former Allman Bro. Guitar player, Jack
brings the magic to the music in a way few others can. This night was
no different, The Jack Pearson Trio (Jack, Joshua Hunt on Drums and
Charles Treadway on keys) bringing the magic with a lil help from
their friends Jonell Mosser, Pat Bergeson, and Shaun Murphy.
