JJ Grey and Mofro returned to
Greenfield Lake amphitheater, in Wilmington N.C., A venue that makes
him feel right at home. The outside venue sits on a “Gator Hole”,
as JJ described it, and is surrounded by Pine and Cypress trees,
indicative to Greys north Florida home. Last year when he came to
Wilmington , the show was sold out. This year was close, and the only disappointments were from those that did not make it. JJ belted out something from each of his albums, including "AIR", "BRIGHTER DAYS", and "HO CAKE" from his 2001 inaugural release, Blackwater. The swamp was alive!
