Nashville (Music City USA) is a city
with many great music venues and it can be tough to stand out. The
new City Winery, which held it's grand opening last night, not only
stands out already as one of the best; it brings a level of class and
sophistication not yet seen here.
Michael Dorf, the CEO of the City
Winery, was on hand to celebrate and welcomed his guests warmly.
There was a very nice buffet,
accompanied by complimentary wine and champagne, for the invitees.
The music by Cory Chisel's Soul Obscura
was excellent. Cory had already graced the stage during the
AmericanaFest, where the City had allowed temporary use just for that
week.
The line up of musical talent for the
next months is impressive. Coupled with the great food, classy
atmosphere, and that beautiful view of downtown from the outside
terrace this venue should do very well indeed.
