One of the best things about the Franklin Theatre is how local music artists use it as their venue for shows to benefit causes close to their hearts. For the third time Sheryl Crow performed a concert series to benefit New Hope Academy, a school dedicated to giving underprivileged children a chance to excel.
The show started with the Headmaster, Stuart Tutler and 2 students speaking about their school, they then got to introduce Ms Crow. The first set was Sheryl Crow and her band showcasing some of her hits. Then there was an auction at set-break.
The second set also featured Amy Grant and Eric Paslay. The high point was an awesome version of “Free Falling”. A great show for a great cause. It made everyone happy.
