To Lorrie Bennett he was Uncle Johnny. Anita Carter, Lorrie’s mother and June Carter Cash‘s sister, had one of the most beautiful voices in the music business.
Lorrie inherited that voice from her Mother. As a Cash family member Lorrie performed at the Johnny Cash Museum’s birthday bash. At an event filled with talented artist’s, Lorrie’s talent shined through. A high point of Saturday night was when Lorrie performed with her personal band. Her husband Herb Bennett on drums, Lisa Horngren on stand=up bass, Don Dixon on lead guitar, and Jared Collins playing rhythm guitar and back-up vocals.
