Nashville, TN
The Joshua Chamberlain Society held a benefit concert for the fallen and wounded military heroes featuring The McCrary Sisters, Scott MacIntyre, Yates and Kevin McKendree, Hillbilly Renegades, Toni Staples, Jacob’s Ladder, and the Stray Dawgs of Nashville.
The show opened with the Color Guard from “Rolling Thunder” and a bagpipe processional by Jim Dury.
There were videos of the fallen heroes interspaced with the musical acts throughout the evening. The highlight was the final act, The McCrary Sisters. “HOT” is perhaps the best adjective to describe them.
A great cause, a great collection of musical acts, and the greatest venue in town.
