In honor of today’s snow I am finally posting the shots from Robert Plant’s Band of Joy 2 night run at Nashville’s War Memorial Auditorium.
It was an icy, snowy night for Nashville and it was only due to my trusty 4 wheel drive truck that I made it to the show. The War Memorial Auditorium with the Statue “Victory“ outside was built in 1925 to honor Tennessee’s WWI Vets and has been a home to both the Grand Ole Opry and The Nashville Symphony.
Inside Robert Plant, Patty Griffin and Buddy Miller led the band through a showcase of both new material and Led Zeppelin classics. Those hardy enough to make it through the snow and ice had a special night in an intimate venue with an incredible band.
