Big Kenny Alphin, John Rich, Gretchen Wilson, and Cowboy Troy came home to Music City in style to kick off the Labor day weekend at Fontanel. And I‘m not talking about Gretchen’s jeans or Kenny’s Keith Richardish outfit. Not even the totally awesome rendition of Mercedes Benz by Gretchen. Nor am I speaking of the hottest, hard rocking music to hit Fontanel this summer (in my opinion), it was the way they honored our veterans and in particular helped Staff Sergeant Shaun Meadows, a double amputee, victim of an IED in Afghanistan. In a moving ceremony hosted by Jonathon Martin of WSMV with honor guard standing by he was presented with a home custom built to handle his disabilities through a joint venture of Operation Finally Home, Goodall Homes, and LP Lumber. Then he was toasted in true Muzik Mafia fashion (Crown and Jack) to the crowd’s thunderous applause. That’s what I consider style.
