Proving that there is more to Irish music than rattle and hum, Bell X1 played to an enthusiastic crowd at the Bowery Ballroom. Compared at times to Radiohead, Cold Play and the Talking Heads, the band's sound evoked Celtic charm infused with a Caribbean beat. The strong set featured songs from all of the bands previous albums and a few from their newest release, "Bloodless Coup". The audience seemed part of the band at times, joyfully dancing and singing along.
