Singer
Joan Osborne and pianist
Keith Cotton were the first act to play at the
Ephrata Main Theater as a performance venue. There is not a bad seat in the 193 seat theater/movie house. The owner's (
Steve and
Karen Brown) of
Lily's on Main Street in
Epharta, PA recently took over the theater. After deciding that they would like to have live music there they brought in long time friend Richard Ruoff (former owner of the
Chameleon Club in
Lancaster, PA) in to do the booking.
Joan Osborne last played at the
Chameleon Club some 15 years ago and was excited to be coming back. Guest
Carsie Blanton open the show.
