On a cold night in
early January the Jack Pearson Trio performed their first show of the
new year at Nashville's iconic Station Inn. The first of 3 sets
featured Jack solo/acoustic, warming up the crowd for the electric
trio sets.
The second set was the
Trio at their finest, with Jack's flawless guitar work building to
breathtaking climaxes. While Charles Treadway, master of the Hammond,
was making that Leslie amp spin and sing like no other can. And
Joshua Hunt, not only driving the beat with his drums, but bursting
into masterful solos that Gene Krupa would be proud of.
The third set saw Pat
Bergeson sitting in with his harmonica, just one of the instruments
he is a master of, adding an extra layer of perfection to an already
just exactly perfect evening of music. Missed the show? The jack
Pearson trio will be at 3rd
and Lindsley Jan. 22 and will be broadcast live by Radio Lighting 100
if you can't make to town. See below for link...
